Arlene's Special Day

Hello, my name is Arlene and when I was 13 years old, the most important person in my life was Johnny Crawford. I was determined to meet him, no matter what. I begged my father to find a way to find him. I believe it was at Paramount Studios, where Johnny was filming, that my dad made a connection with someone at the studio. They got us in and I had my picture taken with him. Johnny put a rope around me, and to this day it had to be the biggest thrill of my life! I still have the picture and every album he made. My happiest memories are of Johnny when I was 13. I kept every article and magazine he was in. I am 57 years old now and have all his records hanging on my will in my music room. Johnny will always have a special meaning in my life. I have to say that Your Nose is Gonna Grow is still my favorite song. It brings back wonderful memories.

Today I am a singer, songwriter and musician. I have been working with Bob Summers for 20 years now. Johnny recorded a few songs with him. Now that I am a recording artist, my life long dream to record a duet song with Johnny that I wrote called One More.

I also own a Bed and Breakfast in Fallbrook, California called Santa Margarita Inn. We are about an hour and a half from L.A. I would love to have Johnny come spend some time at our B&B, and be our guest.

     Thank you.
