Dear Friends,

     I have always enjoyed hearing or reading stories of people meeting a celebrity I would love to meet. It's a vicarious way of living the experience. Many other people I've heard from feel the same way. This is a place where we can all share the 'met Johnny Crawford' experience. If you have met him, we would love to hear from you. If you know of anyone who has, please encourage them to add their story.

     The Rifleman show was a little before my time, but since watching The Rifleman  reruns on the Encore Westerns channel, I couldn't help but fall in love with it and admire the characters. It is very heartwarming to see the relationship between Lucas McCain and his son Mark. I became an instant fan. After doing internet searches, I found that not only was Johnny Crawford involved in a variety of other things throughout his youth, but he is still busy today with his own big band orchestra and making personal appearances at many events.

     I was fortunate to be able to meet Johnny in person recently. It was the most exciting, fun day for me and I wanted to share my joy with anyone who would listen. You can read my story in detail in the 'stories' section. Johnny is such a cordial, friendly person in real life that I know others must have had similar experiences meeting him. I was inspired to create this site for the purpose of sharing those times. I hope that everyone who dreams of meeting Johnny gets the chance to.
